Max & Phoebe

Some of you have asked how Max & Phoebe have been adjusting to the new member of our family, and the answer is: *cat shrug*

When Alisa was pregnant, she got some adorable pictures of each cat asleep on her lap with their front legs literally hugging her belly:
Max and the Bean (as Norah was known then).
Phoebe and the Bean.

It seemed like they were really excited.

Now that Norah's here, the most interest they'll exhibit is to maybe sniff a foot when Norah is laying on the floor, but they don't even bat an eyelash when we hold Norah up to them face to face.  They are probably wanting a little more attention to make up for what they're missing compared to before:

Phoebe, sharing Ali's lap.

Max, sharing my lap.

But at other times they're oblivious.

Norah's stuff is a whole other matter.  Both of the cats seem to be more-or-less avoiding the infant gym, but Phoebe has taken to laying on Norah's tummy time mat.  Max discovered the car seat and slept in it for a day or two:
The blanket is there to keep cat hair off the car seat.

Lastly, Max hopped in the storage basket under the stroller once or twice when we had it in the living room:

(yes, I am aware that the first video posted to this blog doesn't even have Norah in it... we're working on it.)
