And on her eleventh night...

Tessa slept for almost 6 hours. Crossing our fingers this proves to be a habit and not a fluke.

In case you were wondering, here's what we've been up to lately:

Tessa had her first bath early in the morning the day after she was born.

She slept (a little).

Now a family of four!

Tessa will be one week old tomorrow and we are all doing really well.  Norah has stepped up to being a big sister and is helping Mommy and Daddy a lot.  She likes to throw Tessa's diapers away, point to Tessa, and is having fun playing "Mommy" to her dolls.  Tessa has fit right in to our family and it is hard to believe that she hasn't always been here.

Soak City

Norah went to the water park yesterday and had a great time. She waded in the kiddie pool, went down some (little) water slides, and kicked back in the lazy river. At the end of the day Norah's toes were as wrinkled as she was worn out.

The weather was too nice to stay inside yesterday so Norah and I went out to paint the patio with water.  Norah was soaked but we had a blast!

See the cute flip flops?  We got them last week and they are now Norah's favorite shoes - she wants them on all the time!  The first night she wore them she kept bending down to touch her toes as if to say "Wait! I have shoes on but I don't have shoes on!"
